Summary: This 1949 Gibson LG-1 is an outstanding small body guitar with a wonderful, crisp vintage tone. The ladder bracing of the LG-1 produces a charming woody tone that is even across the tonal spectrum with lots of pop and clarity. While these guitars are often sought after by fingerstyle and country blues players, this example sounds great flat picked and would be suitable for virtually any genre of music.
