Summary: A light and responsive small bodied guitar, this classic Martin 00-18 has a spruce top, with mahogany back, sides and neck. Features include a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, bridge and peghead overlay. This 00-18 is in good shape with wear that is consistent with a vintage instrument from the ‘50s. There is a small crack that is stable near the pickguard and the pickguard has started to shrink a little. It still plays very well and sounds amazing.

Body: Spruce top, Mahogany back/sides.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, soft “V” shape, 14 open frets/20 total frets. 1.665” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Grover open gear tuning keys, tortoise pickguard, Rosewood bridge/peghead overlay,

Cosmetics: This guitar has wear that is consistent with an instrument from the ‘50s. It has various nicks, dings, and scuff throughout. The body has a good bit of finish checking. There is a small crack near the pickguard (See Photos Please). The pickguard has started to shrink a little. The back of the neck is in good shape and the frets show minimal wear, mostly on the B string on the first few frets. The end pin is missing.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
