Summary: This 1986 Takamine EF-349 Mahogany has the most popular body shape of the past half century, the Dreadnought, which delivers a strong low end with plenty of volume. Electronics make this guitar ready for campfire, backporch, stage and studio.   Body: Mahogany top, back and sides in a Gloss Red stain finish. Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 25.5” scale length,1.67” nut width,  20 frets,  pearl dot inlays.   Pickups/Hardware: Graph-X electronics.   Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches and small indentations on the body. The back of the neck has a few light dings that do not affect playability, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.   Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
